Keep in mind, when choosing a video card memory size is only a selling point used by the companies selling the card. With a slow graphics processing unit, memory size is almost meaningless. If you don't game, a 64 meg card is totally sufficent for running WIN-XP. If you do game, Google the card you like and compare it to a few that are in the same performance range.
